St Mary's is obviously a beautiful place to get married and a great place to begin married life. You can have a choir and bellringers and flowers galore or just keep it simple. As long as one of the couple lives within the parish boundaries, or has a Qualifying Connection with St Mary's Olveston, you are eligible to be married here.

Preparation for marriage, not just the wedding itself, is taken seriously, and the local churches here in Severnside join together for a marriage preparation course, for those intending to marry during the coming year. Please contact Janet Olliff (01454 618690) if you are interested in this course.
The Banns of marriage have to be read out in church for three, usually consecutive, Sundays during the three months before the wedding before it can legally go ahead.
