On Sunday 26th July a small crowd gathered around the duckpond on Catherine Hill. The occasion was the re-launching of the famous Duckingham Palace. This amazing piece of work is the handicraft of Colin Prewett of Olveston. It took him 300 man hours to restore the floating palace and a JCG to winch it on to the water! Many thanks to Colin and his helpers and the Pearce family, who own the pond, for helping Olveston to remain a quirky village.
