What an amazing concert! Easton’s Salvation Army Band performed for the tenth year in St Mary’s on Sunday 8th December in front of a packed house.

In the first half they played many wonderful melodies mainly from their own Song Book, some 19th century, others from the 20th century.

After the intermission a very mixed bag of music, including carols – joined by the organist, Dr David Shaw, and the congregation – and even “God Rest Ye Merry Cha Cha Men” to great applause from the floor.

There was a closing collection for the Salvation Army and when the amount is disclosed it will be published here.
